Sian & Marks Wedding at the Cotton's Hotel & Spa
The whole wedding day took place at the wonderful Cotton's Hotel and Spa in the beautiful setting of the knutsford countryside. This is the second time I have been a wedding photographer at the cottons hotel. This time it was a different time of year which always gives you a different feel. And with what can only be described as a 'challenging' forecast when it came to the weather, it still turned out a perfect wedding day.
They say that rain on a wedding day is the sign of a long and happy marriage! Well Sian and Mark what can I say these two have been together for years already, complete childhood sweethearts. I first met this couple when I was starting on my little photography journey, photographing Sian's bump. I have had the pleasure of watching their family grow year on year, from when their beautiful little Amelia arrived too now.
Being asked to be their Wedding photographer was an honour, I love working with them, always enthusiastic and trusting. (I hope I have managed to do a good enough job this time too)
A whole wedding day at the cottons hotel
The girls were made over beautifully by Danielle Gregory owner of Doll Make up studio whose make up is just phenomenal and still in place after a full day of wedding emotions! Hair by Katie Johnson again fabulous job especially keeping Amelia in one place with a curling tongue in one hand! Coral dresses, personalised glasses and slippers, a row of rose gold heels and beautiful bridesmaid gift bags all added a personal touch to such a unique day!
Sian's dress from Beryl Cottons was a stunning number in white with a hint of sparkle (I wouldn't expect anything less from this girl) Hung delightfully on a personalised hanger next too a mini me matching dress for Amelia. The flowers were just 'wow' stunning, in colours perfectly complimenting her bridesmaids dresses to a tee. All put together by Sian's auntie Kerry. One moment that really stayed with me was the truly emotionally moment when Sian's dad first seen her all made up in her wedding dress, the look on her fathers face was both priceless and timeless.
An indoor Wedding ceremony, delivered by a lovely registrar. Amelia giving her daddy a huge cuddle to start. Just perfect, a little laughter, a room filled with excited wedding guests a mix of friends and family. The room was immaculately dressed by Wow venue dressers, there were hints of sparkle and huge love light letters lighting the alter.
Dj Andy Riley kicked of the music at 7pm while the evening guests arrived. The night started with a father daughter dance which was both beautiful and emotional. An extremely well executed bouquet throw which ended up with the flower catcher being 'mother of the bride'! And these childhood sweethearts danced their first dance as Mr & Mrs to Ed Sheeran's very apt 'Thinking out loud'...
Congratulations to not only an amazing couple but to a family, one I have truly enjoyed spending time with. Every time I have had throughly enjoyed capturing your most precious and personal memories...Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer x
