Lily & Zhuo's Wedding at the Victoria Gallery was just beautiful. This was a late booking for me and one I am so glad to have been able to do. Lily & Zhuo both originally from China have studied in the uk for many years now. Two extremely intelligent souls who chose to tie the knot at a place that meant a lot to them, In the heart of their university at the Stunning and very well preserved Victoria and Gallery Museum.
Lily's bridal prep room was extremely calm, very much like her she has an extremely relaxed manner and beautiful persona. Her stunning full length ruffled dress complete with sparkly details hung from the four poster bed. Flowers and shoes arranged ready to go. Bridal shoes were Manolo Blahnik - AMAZING wonderful choice Lily. Her Make up and hair was devine she looked like a doll with her perfect completion and dark hair draping down in curls. With her beautiful best friend as Maid of honour by her side off she went to meet her husband to be.
The Venue looked Devine. Lily & Zhuo had done an amazing job, a lot of the wedding created and decorated by themselves and friends. Large White, Clear and Turquoise balloon clusters scattered throughout the large dining room, each table decorated with jars of delicate blue flowers and subtle place names set in place in both English and Chinese.
The Ceremony took place in historiacal Leggate Theatre. Smiling faces of family and friends filled the isles. Dad by her side, a tiny flower girl and page boy complete with petals showered lily as she walked round and down to her groom.
A touching ceremony, including a beautiful Harpist to add a unique feel to those special moments. Ceremony complete, Zhuo read an emotional and heart felt speech to their loved ones. Not only this but had created a just spectacular art piece slideshow on a large screen of 'Lily and Zhou's' Love story which was truly touching.
Guests were wonderfully happy, a super large group shot including props and even a bouquet throw. I did some intimate couple shots in and around the stunning victorian building and grounds complete with 'Square' shaped trees.
Their evening celebrations began with their superbly (last minute I am told) choreographed & Romantic first dance to Christina Perry's 'A Thousand Years' played on the Violin by a very talented Cousin! - Amazing. What a beautiful end to my day photographing two wonderful people, completely and un deniable in Love.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chang...All the very best and I have no doubt your second Wedding in China will be just as perfect ...x
