A stunning summer wedding at The Cottons Hotel & Spa in Knutsford
Congratulations Kirsty and Mark - Mr & Mrs Culleton
I have known Kirsty for a few years now, and I think photographing her wedding was a huge deal as I view her as more of a friend than a client. She's been my manager at work & also my friend and we have shared many conversations and laughs over brews about finding 'Mr Right' and her love for 'Fifty shades' and our in-depth talks about 'Mr Grey'... but apparently now that ship has sailed and she's found her own! So here she is on her wedding day marrying Mark a man who I can only have say has completed her. Kirsty has a wild heart and is such a fun girl to be around and Mark only brings that out of her more. They say the right person enhances you and I honestly believe these two have that.
Bridal prep began at Village Hair & Beauty. At Home Kirsty's hair was put up beautifully by Danielle Grey. Kirsty's daughter Grace was a little camera shy but I still managed to get some lovely shots of her and Kirsty together during the preparation time. Kirsty's dress was a stunning floor length gown, just so flattering and perfect with lace sleeves and detailing. She chose a traditional Veil which tied her whole sophiscated bridal look together.
A Traditional Church Wedding
The sun is shining and family and friends congregate outside the Church. Mark and his best man sit at the front as he awaits his bride. Kirsty's bridal party all look summery in floaty peach dresses. A mix of older and younger bridesmaids including two flower girls who look adorable. She walks down the aisle to the 'fifty shades theme' which I could only smile about. The ceremony is lovely and traditional with readings by the best man and Kirsty's daughter Grace.
Wedding Breakfast at the Cottons Hotel
The Cottons Hotel is a stunning wedding venue one I have had the pleasure of being a fair few times now. Today the weather has been kind to us and we are able to capture some moments in the grounds and around the venue. This Hotel is also a Spa, surrounded by beautiful fields of gold in the heart of the Knutsford countryside. Its easy to feel relaxed here and a million miles from home. The breakfast room is set out, large tall jars of white lilies and hints of subtle pink tie the theme together. Speeches are fun and light hearted, with a little emotion shown from the groom.
An evening I won't remember in a hurry. Just a bit of advice for any brides, if the venue decide its a good idea to put your cake in the middle the dance floor and your not happy with it - Don't attempt to move it yourself! We can laugh about this now but yes the cake fell and all I can say is 'Marks and Spencer's' you did good, it was all still in one piece and survived the fall.
The Evening ended with a gorgeous first dance the couple arriving through a tunnel of people, and finally everyone up on the dance floor. The cake nice and safe on the sidelines.
Congratulations you lovely pair! I loved working with you both, all your family and friends we so inviting and friendly throughout the day - Heres to your Happy Ever After...x
