Wedding Day at the Victoria Gallery // Lily & Zhou

Victoria-Gallery-Wedding-photography.jpg

Lily & Zhuo's Wedding at the Victoria Gallery was just beautiful. This was a late booking for me and one I am so glad to have been able to do. Lily & Zhuo both originally from China have studied in the uk for many years now. Two extremely intelligent souls who chose to tie the knot at a place that meant a lot to them, In the heart of their university at the Stunning and very well preserved Victoria and Gallery Museum.

Lily's bridal prep room was extremely calm, very much like her she has an extremely relaxed manner and beautiful persona.  Her stunning full length ruffled dress complete with sparkly details hung from the four poster bed. Flowers and shoes arranged ready to go. Bridal shoes were Manolo Blahnik - AMAZING wonderful choice Lily. Her Make up and hair was devine she looked like a doll with her perfect completion and dark hair draping down in curls. With her beautiful best friend as Maid of honour by her side off she went to meet her husband to be.

The Venue looked Devine. Lily & Zhuo had done an amazing job, a lot of the wedding created and decorated by themselves and friends. Large White, Clear and Turquoise balloon clusters scattered throughout the large dining room, each table decorated with jars of delicate blue flowers and subtle place names set in place in both English and Chinese.

The Ceremony took place in historiacal Leggate Theatre. Smiling faces of family and friends filled the isles. Dad by her side, a tiny flower girl and page boy complete with petals showered lily as she walked round and down to her groom.

A touching ceremony, including a beautiful Harpist to add a unique feel to those special moments. Ceremony complete, Zhuo read an emotional and heart felt speech to their loved ones. Not only this but had created a just spectacular art piece slideshow on a large screen of 'Lily and Zhou's' Love story which was truly touching.

Guests were wonderfully happy, a super large group shot including props and even a bouquet throw. I did some intimate couple shots in and around the stunning victorian building and grounds complete with 'Square' shaped trees.

Their evening celebrations began with their superbly (last minute I am told) choreographed  & Romantic first dance to Christina Perry's 'A Thousand Years' played on the Violin by a very talented Cousin! - Amazing. What a beautiful end to my day photographing two wonderful people, completely and un deniable in Love.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chang...All the very best and I have no doubt your second Wedding in China will be just as perfect ...x

Danielle & Alex - Wedding Photography at St Georges Hall

A wonderful wedding at St Georges Hall - Liverpool

So Mr & Mrs Bishop...what can I say!

Three weeks prior to their wedding day I got to photograph Danielle and Alex's gorgeous new baby. How many brides can have a baby and still look so fresh on their wedding day! It was lovely to see them as a little family of three on a day they had planned for such a long time.

One thing I loved about their wedding was how laid back these guys are and how much all the little details showed off their personalities, a totally new theme for me - Lego!

An early start at Bella Mode for hair and makeup. An aray of bright colour themed dresses, bridesmaids in blue, flower girls with green & blue sashes and her glamorous mum in ruby red. Lego Paper flowers by - Blossom Roberts. Danielle had some stunning blinded up converse by Belle's bling. Her dress was chosen from 'Asap Bridal Liverpool'. The Ceremony took me back to one of my first ever venues the stunning St Georges Hall in the centre of Liverpool. A perfect ceremony even the register had a lego themed watch 'unknowing' of their theme. Baby Lucas was amazing all day not a peep, all dressed up in his mini tux with a little Bow Tie.

The Wedding Breakfast took place at the Sanden, right next too Anfield Stadium. The room decor again beautifully bright coloured tying in perfectly with the theme of the day. Mini lego people for each persons place, Lego postbox, Table plan and most importantly the CAKE! - The Liverpool Cake Shop. By far one of the most amazing cakes I have seen complete with Mini lego versions of Danielle, Alex and Baby Lucas.

The evening rolled in we got some lovely photographs as the sun was coming down, and moving into the night time entertainment we had the very talented Billy Strand singing their First Dance Song - John Legends - All of me.

What a wonderful day filled with close family and friends....Thank you for choosing me!

Wedding Photography at The Shireburn Arms's Hotel - Mr & Mrs Conway

Claire and Liam's amazing Wedding at the Shireburn Arms in Lancashire.

Claire and Liam I am so glad you chose me to be your photographer at the Shireburn Arms Hotel!

They initially got in touch after being recommended by my lovely cousin Emma and seeing her wedding photographs that I did back in August 2015. Their venue was a new one for me, and it really is a hidden Gem set in the stunning Lancashire countryside, surrounded by fields of cows and sheep, overall a beautiful and quaint venue, which has a sense of luxury and homeliness.

Claire looked stunning like a beautiful vintage bride. Make up and hair by Harry Jon for both her bridesmaids and herself, what a fantastic job they all looked Devine.  The dress was just wow, perfect for Claire and her petite frame, extremely classy.

An emotional ceremony for many, perfectly completed with the exchanging of rings and a kiss. Considering these two told me they were really nervous about being in front of the camera, I can honestly say they made my job so easy. When I say I love to shoot my couples as natural as possible, these pair had it down, chatting, laughing, and generally enjoying their first moments as Mr & Mrs away from the hustle and bustle of the wedding party. For two people who have been together for years, the love between is clear, from an outsider looking in you'd think they had just met... not only in love but best friends too.

Confetti shot - Well Claire I hope you agree we nailed this!!

Speeches were fabulous, I loved the whole story of how Claire and Liam met, and how a little fate meeting at his nephews first birthday party, a kiss, a valentines day card and a smidgen of courage from Claire has led to what can only be described as a relationship built to last, an a wedding that was beyond perfect!

Thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding I enjoyed every moment (especially the moment when the black sambucca's were purchased)

Relaxed, Romantic and Real - Wedding Photography

My style of photography is mainly documentary, capturing the emotions as they happen and capturing the moments as they unfold. I am a fun, laid back, real person (last time I checked) I am also a mum, a dress holder, a necklace putter on’er, a shoe admirer as well the person taking photographs. My overall style is a twist of originality and something a little unique too. No wedding will ever be captured the same.
